1. Who We Are

Vetted is operated by JK.Creative LLC. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

Seekers: Name and email (via Google Sign-In), resume, portfolio URL, skills, application history.

Employers: Company name, EIN, state of incorporation, email, password (hashed), website, job listing content, payment information (processed by Square, not stored by us).

Automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. We use Umami for privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no personal data tracking).

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform: match seekers with jobs, process payments, calculate employer ratings, send transactional emails (application confirmations, rating requests, expiration notices).

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest. Sessions use httpOnly, secure, sameSite cookies. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds).

5. Third-Party Services

Google OAuth: Authentication only. We access name and email. We do not access contacts, calendar, or other Google data.

Square: Payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers.

Sentry: Error tracking. May include anonymized request data.

Umami: Privacy-first analytics. No cookies, no personal data.

6. Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data. Contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Employer Ratings

Seeker ratings of employers are anonymous. Employer response speed is calculated automatically and is not subject to removal. This data is considered platform data, not personal data.

8. Data Retention

Active accounts: retained while the account is active. Deleted accounts: data removed within 30 days. Job listings: retained for 90 days after expiration for reference. Payment records: retained for 7 years per tax requirements.

9. Children

Vetted is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email.
